My professional career began as a jazz vocalist when I sat in with a band at Club Isabella's in Cleveland, OH. I also performed as back-up singer to R&B national recording artist Jean Carn and traveled a year on the East coast.
In 2006, I performed at an annual concert that showcases Cleveland’s top jazz performers with Eddie Baccus, Sr. on piano, Eddie Baccus, Jr. on sax, Cedric Napoleon on bass, Cecil Rucker on vibes, and Greg Bandy on drums at the Cleveland Playhouse.
My recent performances were at Bedford Heights Annual Jazz Event in August 2016 and for a private event at Highland Golf Country Club in Beachwood, Ohio.

December 28, 2011Shari appeared this past June at Clevelands Lakefront Boating Festival. The two day festival annually draws 5-10 thousand people to Voinovich Park for free boat rides and lots of great food. Shari's smooth but strong voice left the crowd in awe with a great mix of traditional and contemporary jazz. Who is she? Is she local? Oh my God, where did she come from; just a few comments from the crowd. In my opinion she is an awesome vocalist with great stage presence and audience appeal (Bob Davis)
