What to expect

When an audience comes to see me, they can expect an experience that’s raw, soulful, and deeply human. My performances are rooted in emotional storytelling—vocals that aren’t just sung, but felt. Whether I’m delivering a powerful R&B ballad or an uptempo pop song, I aim to create a genuine connection that leaves the room changed. Expect passion, vulnerability, and moments that pull you in close before lifting the roof off the place. Clients get a fully committed, professional artist who understands how to move an audience. I bring intention to every performance—strong vocals, emotional clarity, and an awareness of the room that allows me to read and respond to the energy in real time. Whether it’s a live show, special event, or curated performance, I deliver quality, reliability, and an unforgettable presence that resonates long after the final note.

About

Shakai, also known as "Kai," is an inspiring singer, actor, dancer, model, and content creator. He was born to Kimberly Johnson, and Charles Levine, Jr. in Queens, New York but was brought up in Brooklyn. Kai began his singing career in the 5th grade at Ardmore Elementary. Years later, Kai decided to join the theater program at his high school, North Brunswick Township High School.
Shakai took a break from his first college and put his full time and ambition into acting, building a resume, and getting further in his career. Some of his favorite roles include Hairspray (Ensemble), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Willie Wonka), Mary Poppins (Neleus), and Dear Evan Hansen (Evan Hansen). Then Shakai went back to college at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre. While studying at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, he has studied the roles of Aladdin the Musical (Aladdin), She Loves Me (Georg Nowack), Something Rotten (William Shakespeare), How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (J. Pierrepont Finch), In the Heights (Usnavi), Newsies (Crutchie) as well as Hamilton (Alexander Hamilton).
