Our ensemble is comprised of collegiate graduates from Berklee who have worked with Tia Fuller, Ralph Peterson Jr., Wynton Marsalis, Smokey Robinson, and many more. November 24, 2022I couldn’t believe it when I walked into the Rockwood music hall in New York and heard these guys! Incredibel music, energy, and man that saxophonist was amazing! I’d pay for this everyday of the week.

November 23, 2022These guys are great. I caught them in Davis Square outside of Boston one night almost by accident. They do jazz and R&B. Trad jazz styles that swing, electric and contemporary as well as singable R&B titles from the past. They have a strong drummer and a wonderful lead vocalist as well. Bassist rocks and so does the guitarist. Video on this site doesn't really say everything . . . Good for hip parties!

Multi-instrumentalist and composer, Craig Jackson, is one of a kind artists whose passion for activism drives his creativity. Originally from Dayton, OH, Craig has served as a prolific musician throughout his entire high school years, performing at Lincoln Center Jazz Festival in 2014 with Lew Tabakin and as a member of the All-State Jazz Orchestra. Now currently a student at Berklee College of Music, Craig continued to grow his musicianship, gaining opportunities to record with Bob Lanzetti of Snarky Puppy and pianist Jesus Molina. He has also begun an educational web series called "Shifu's Apprentice," a tribute to Ralph Peterson Jr. Through understanding the world from the present and past, Craig's artistry reflects a spark of what needs to be a part of our future.
Seventh Sun uses power for our instrumental setup and are also an acoustic band(depending on event requirements). Seventh Sun does use a live sound engineer which also depends on size of the gig and budget. We also include that the band is given proper time for load-in and sound check for the best performance for our clients!

Our experience working with Tia Fuller, Ralph Peterson Jr., The Curtis Brothers, Shelia Ray Charles, and being on tour on and off for the past 9 months has definitely shaped our sound on the bandstand as a group and individual artists.
