About

As a seasoned drummer with over a decade of experience, my passion for rhythm has driven me to become a versatile and sought-after musician. My drumming journey began in Pennsylvania, where my natural talent quickly earned me a place in various music groups, including school bands, marching bands, jazz ensembles, and pep bands. My ability to adapt to different styles and environments soon made me a staple in the local music scene.
My love for heavy rock music shaped my drumming style, which is characterized by powerful, precise beats and an undeniable energy that captivates audiences. My approach to drumming is rooted in having fun, being authentic, and continually pushing my skills to new heights. This mindset not only fuels my creativity but also makes me a magnetic performer, whether I'm playing in a garage band, drumming at a church, or energizing crowds at local events.
After moving to Jacksonville, Florida, I am facing the challenge of re-establishing myself in a new environment. While opportunities to play have been limited, my passion for drumming remains unwavering. I am actively working to get my name out there, driven by the same commitment that has always propelled my career. My versatility extends beyond my drumming skills; with a strong business acumen, I am strategically navigating the music industry to create new opportunities.
Whether behind the kit at a live performance or in the studio, I bring a unique blend of technical skill, passion, and professionalism to every project. As I continue to build my career, my goal remains the same: to inspire others through my music, leave a lasting impact on every performance, and keep the beat going strong.

Additional booking notes

For my drumming services, I pride myself on being a plug-and-play drummer, ensuring a seamless integration into your event or project with minimal setup time. Below is a detailed breakdown of the technical requirements and what you can expect when hiring me:

1. Sound Requirements:

Drum Kit Setup: I use an Alesis Nitro electronic drum kit, allowing flexible sound options and easy integration with any existing audio setup. The kit is compact and can be adjusted to fit various stage sizes and configurations.

Mixer: I bring my own sound mixer. This setup allows for quick adjustments and ensures optimal sound quality, whether it’s for live performances, recordings, or corporate events.

PA System: My kit connects directly to your PA system or audio interface with standard 1/4-inch cables. This simplifies the sound setup, reducing the need for extensive mic placement and sound checks.

2. Staging Requirements:

Stage Size: The Alesis Nitro kit has a small footprint, requiring only a minimal stage area. A space of approximately 5x5 sqft is sufficient to accommodate the kit and allow for comfortable performance.

Placement: The kit can be easily positioned anywhere on stage, offering flexibility based on your event’s needs. Whether centered at the back or off to the side, the electronic setup ensures a clean and uncluttered stage appearance.

3. Lighting Requirements:

General Lighting: Basic stage lighting is sufficient for my performances. The electronic kit’s compact design reduces the need for specialized lighting, though adding spotlights or colored washes can enhance the visual impact.

Minimal Special Effects: Due to the nature of the electronic kit, elaborate lighting effects like strobes or moving lights are not necessary but can be coordinated to match the event’s ambiance if desired.

4. Setup and Soundcheck:

Quick Setup: As a plug-and-play drummer, my setup time is minimal. I require only 30 minutes to set up the Alesis Nitro kit and connect it to your sound system.

Soundcheck: A brief soundcheck of about 10 minutes ensures that the levels are balanced and everything is functioning correctly. The simplicity of the electronic kit means fewer technical issues and a smoother setup process.

5. Other Considerations:

Transportation and Parking: With the compact nature of the Alesis Nitro kit, transportation is straightforward. Please provide a convenient loading area and parking space close to the venue for quick unloading.

Agreement and Payment Terms: I require a signed agreement outlining the performance details, along with a 50% deposit prior to the event.

By hiring me as a plug-and-play drummer, you can expect a professional, hassle-free performance with minimal setup time and maximum impact. If you have any specific requests or need further clarification on any of the above, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
