I speak to professionals about a source of burnout and diminished performance that is easy to miss: sensory-environment mismatch.
My keynote and workshop “You Are Not the Problem: How Your Environment Shapes Your Capacity,” uses stories, four Sensory Styles, a live demonstration, and audience participation to teach how clothing, sound, light, movement, and work rhythms can drain presence, creativity, and decision-making.
Learning objects include: 1. what is your sensory wiring, 2. How to recognize sensory needs in others (great for leaders and managers), 3. Easy and inexpensive ideas to reduce the load.
