Seattle Solid Gold

Seattle Solid Gold is very flexible and carefully chooses music for each venue and show based on the audience expected. If a lot of younger dancers, we will likely include much more modern retro swing and vintage Top-40 dance tunes. If it's more of a club/concert situation, we will program in more big dramatic performance pieces and subtle bits of modern jazz. For senior oriented shows, we program more traditional big band tunes with classic swing and vintage ballads. Once we understand your event, we'll work with you to choose the right music.

Seattle Solid Gold is an 11pc group, half the size of a typical 20+pc big band, so we are able to work in smaller venues, and our music is comes with a modern-retro twist. It is simply impossible to sit still when we play!

Our headliner is Donna Ray, a legend in the Seattle area, with an impressive career that includes 18 years on big stages in Las Vegas with the likes of Liza Minnelli, Robert Goulet, Wayne Newton, Gladys Knight, and Aretha Franklin. Donna performs a variety of works by Lady Gaga, Shoshana Bean, Natalie Cole and Whitney Houston.

Co-starring on stage is Greg McDole who brings the stylings of legendary entertainers including Michael Bublé, Chicago, Santana, Voodoo Daddy, Tom Jones and so many others. Greg is a true showman and his high-energy performances delight audiences at every StageOne event. Like Donna, Greg has a ton of fans in the area.

Venues that actively manage their stage & sound almost always produce the best results. For smaller venues that have no sound capabilities, we can bring our sound system and mixer at an additional cost, and that sound will be overseen by a musician in the band on stage.
