May 31, 2026Fantastic experience!
Bill arrived early for setup, was very collaborative throughout the booking and planning process, and did an amazing job at our event. Our guests were so thrilled with his performance, we ended up asking him to stay longer (and he did!) He took requests from guests, and was thoroughly professional and charming. We’re definitely going to book him for future events.

June 26, 2025Eclectic, laid-back, fun!
Bill was a great fit for our upscale casual tavern. We feature live music on a regular basis, but rarely see a crowd like the one that showed up for this guy! He has a very mellow vibe and covers a wide variety of classic rock numbers that one doesn't usually here from your typical tavern acoustic artists. He was great at reading the crowd and brought the tempo and volume up gradually as the night went on. I am already looking forward to his next performance!

What to expect
I have an extensive repertoire (200+ songs) covering classic rock, rock, alternative, americana, folk, etc. My vocal style tracks closely to the original recordings, reflecting them while not mimicking, and this results in a sound that is familiar to audiences while still unique. I've been singing and playing guitar (as well as recording, mixing, producing, and playing in bands) for most of my life and bring a professional sound and presentation.
About
Some of my earliest and most cherished memories are of my dad strumming his guitar and singing around campfires at family gatherings. The crackle of the fire, the glow on familiar faces, and the sound of voices rising together in songs by Neil Diamond, John Denver, and The Kingston Trio—it was pure magic. Those moments weren’t just about music; they were about connection. Music was the thread that wove us all together, creating a shared joy that lingered long after the flames died down.
I was 12 when my parents gave me a classical acoustic guitar and I fell in love instantly. That guitar became my constant companion, the starting point of a lifelong journey (though, in true teenage fashion, I smashed that particular guitar in a in a burst of angst). I grew up singing and playing in bands, through high school, college, and beyond playing a mix of covers and original music.
Over the years, music has been my joy, my refuge, my creative outlet. It’s where I process the world and connect deeply—with fellow musicians, with strangers who become friends in the crowd, with anyone who’s ever needed a song to feel seen. There’s nothing quite like the shared energy when people start singing and dancing along—it’s electric.
Today, I live in Northern Virginia and perform throughout the DMV area as both a solo acoustic artist and as part of several cover bands (Gutterball Kingpin, Wildflower Dreams, and 4th Street Underground). We play a wide range of music—rock, classic rock, Americana, folk, and alternative—from the ’60s to today. But no matter the genre, it always comes back to that same feeling I had as a kid by the fire: music as a bridge between souls.
Additional booking notes
My default equipment for performances is to show up with my guitar and a DI box, in which case the venue/customer is providing a microphone, mic stand, 2 XLR cables, mixer, PA speakers, and lighting/staging (as needed). And of course, power.
I can bring PA equipment available for an extra fee. This includes a pair of QSC K12.2 Series speakers, speaker stands, microphone(s), DI box, mic stand(s), mixing board, and related cabling.
For outdoor performances, I require cover that guarantees safety and that me and my equipment stay dry.
