Scannura Flamenco

Roger shows up at least 30 min. early to set up. Setting up takes 10 min. Roger brings his own acoustic guitar amp which is a high quality way to fill a large room with warm sound yet takes very little space and is easy to move around to suit the need.
Roger only requires an armless chair and access to power.
Roger is able to change location in room quickly to suit,for example be in entrance during cocktails and move to hall during dinner.
The music is both soft to allow conversation or more dynamic to create excitement.
If a hardwood stage is available Roger can provide one or two flamenco dancers.

Roger Scannura (Composer,flamenco guitarist) is an internationally recognized flamenco guitarist and a leading exponent of Nuevo Flamenco. He was born on the history drenched island of Malta and was immersed in art ad music since an early age. Roger has recorded 7 CD’s of original flamenco music, encompassing both
traditional flamenco and modern styles. He has played in concerts and festivals worldwide and has received acclaim for his deeply soulful portrayal of flamenco guitar. Roger has been on the faculty of York University since 2003 and teaches flamenco guitar to hundreds of aspiring musicians each year.

Roger Scannura is mainly a solo artist. Roger brings his own sound equipement and an easy set up. Beautiful flamenco/latin guitar music. Roger also has flamenco dancers,percussionist and singer for those who request a bigger performance and can provide a proper stage.
