December 4, 2020Beautiful music
Sara Ruiz is a highly-talented and professional musician. Her renditions of Amazing Grace, How Beautiful, In Christ Alone, and The Prayer were very much a blessing to us at a recent funeral in memory of our beloved, and much appreciated.

July 23, 2020Right on the mark
Sarah’s singing was perfect. She is open and humble. She made the task of finding a singer for my Mom’ funeral quite easy. Previewing her videos was very helpful. I’m really very very satisfied with her performance. I would recommend her wholeheartedly.

About
I began singing at a young age - in fact I can't remember when I wasn't singing! I am a wife and mother to 4 children. Singing gives me so much joy and I am blessed to be able to share that with others. Most of my life, singing was a fun hobby for me. I was in the choir in school and at church from a young age and I continue singing in the church choir to this current day. I began to be in musicals and All State Choir in South Carolina in my high school years. I was in The Music Man, Camelot, Pirates of Penzance and Oklahoma!
In the past several years, I turned my hobby into my profession. It is what I have always loved and I am so happy I am able to do so now. I am a staff singer at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston as well as part of The King's Counterpoint. I was in the chorus for Charleston Opera Theater's productions of La Boheme and Carmen. If you are looking for someone to sing for your special day, I would be delighted to sing for you!
Additional booking notes
I do not have any equipment or instruments. If piano is preferred to accompany, a piano is required. I have musicians I can recommend for accompaniment. It is also preferred to have a music stand, microphone and microphone stand and sound equipment.

Influences and inspiration
Singing in choir most of my life, along with my love for musicals has influenced me greatly in my love for music and my preference of style. My mother encouraged my love and interest of music very early in life, so I have her to thank for that!
