I have performed roles in operas and musical theatre productions with the Furman Opera Theatre, the Juilliard Opera Center, The San Francisco Opera Center, the West Bay Opera, the Nevada Opera, the Lucero Opera, the Chautaqua Opera Studio, and the Hawaii Opera Theatre. My teaching experience spans the San Francisco Opera, the New National Theatre of Tokyo, The Chautauqua Institute, The Juilliard Gluck Fellows, The San Francisco Girls Chorus, and the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. My favorite performance venues are situations in which the audience expects to be emotionally moved, whether that be to laughter, joy, or tears, as I believe that the heart and the voice are so closely connected that they are nearly inseparable. Truly soulful performing, which involves delight and healing, is my specialty, but I also love creating an ambiance which ranges from the relaxing to the truly festive.
