I'm excited to hear about your event! I frequently play and sing at the same time, but I'm also happy to play only instrumentals. I have an extensive background in classical music, but I specialize in bringing songs to the harp that you wouldn't expect to hear. I can learn almost any song you want to hear!

Harps are large instruments, so you want to make sure there is ample room at the venue. Most wedding venues or event halls will be happy to help you pick a spot, and I'm very flexible with changing plans. Please let me know ahead of time for any song requests, and level of formal dress for your event.
I would be happy to provide speakers and other sound equipment. For small events this may not be necessary, but for large events amplification is a must!

If you still want a harp, but my price range is out of your budget, or there is limited space, I have a travel sized harp that could fit anywhere! I'm happy to work with you to make having a harp at your event possible.

Sara Henya studied voice and piano at Settlement Music School before attending Temple's Boyer College of Music where she studied Music Theory, Voice, and the Harp. She has performed extensively in Philadelphia and beyond, touring the country with her original music.

If we need amplification, I have a speaker, microphone, and mixing board that can do any job. The concert grand harp does need about 6 square feet of space, but the travel harp fits anywhere. Both have amplification, or can be played acoustically.
