Santa Skip has been in the Entertainment Business for over 55 years, starting in Radio at the bright young age of nine. His first time portraying Santa was in 1973 at 16 years old, when he played the "Jolly ol' Elf for his hometown, and was delivered to all the Christmas events on the back of the town Fire Truck. Since then Santa Skip's career has taken him on and off the stage, and in and out of backstage. His years of portraying Santa Claus have given him scores of experience interacting with guests and clients & families. I have always felt that a more modern-day Santa, in the style of Edmond Gwenn as Santa Claus in the original 1947 Miracle on 34th Street was the best Santa for today. His neatly trimmed beard style was more realistic and believable for children and adults alike.
