Gig length: 30 - 600 minutes
Home visits are generally from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the party. I like to take the time to interact with each child. And of course I want to make sure that the parents get good pictures of Santa and the little one. I do take requests, from the parents, if there is any special reading they like or something similar.
Corporate events I usually mingle and take pictures with whomever wants one. I've even done a couple Santa chats over Skype, Zoom and Face Time.
I'm a "year round bearded" Santa. As you can see, by my profile pic, I do have some dark in my mustache & beard. I’m no longer using harsh chemicals to do the all white “Santa look”. It’s really difficult to maintain and it’s unhealthy. Please see my “action” pics for my “look” as Santa. I have a background check done yearly. I’m a founding officer, in the "Oklahoma Santas", which is State wide group affiliated with the International Real Bearded Santas.
I love being Santa! I started at my church and it has grown from there. I do home visits to corporate parties. I try and make each child, or adult (admit it we all turn into kids around the Big Guy) feel special when they get to be with Santa. I make sure everyone gets their time. I love to do this and seeing the "twinkle" in a child's eyes which brings the kid out in me. I wish I could do this all year.
I'm only taking weekend bookings but with a little notice I can pretty much make anytime needed.
Santa needs to be a surprise. Anything that we can arrange, to help, keep the dream alive is greatly welcomed. Children don't need to see Santa arriving and putting on his coat and hat. Of course if they do I just tell them that the reindeer are on a break and Santa like to drive a Ford F150...
