Ho ho ho! From Buffalo snow to the radio waves, and now bringing the holiday magic straight to you in Tulsa! After retiring in 2024 Santa Dave decided to let his beard grow, and that's when the magic happened. Little kids started pointing, smiling, and waving in the grocery store—and of course, Santa Dave always waves back! He is a great listener, a keeper of the holiday traditions, and brings a spirit of kindness, gentleness, and wonder to every event. Whether it's reading The Night Before Christmas to your little ones, bringing a burst of holiday cheer to your company party, singing your favorite Christmas songs with the group or taking photos with your family or employees, Santa Dave is ready to bring the true spirit of Christmas to your event. My journey to becoming Santa started in the snowy winters of Buffalo, NY, before taking me on a grand tour through Louisiana (where I met my wonderful wife, Karen, in 1981), South Carolina, and finally right here to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Along the way, Karen and I raised two smart, witty, and beautiful daughters who also call Tulsa home.
You could say my entire life has been preparation for stepping into Santa’s boots. I bring a pretty unique mix of talents to the sleigh:

• The Voice of a Pro: I’ve been in radio broadcasting for over 50 years (starting all the way back in high school!). If my voice sounds familiar, you’ve probably heard me on Groovy 105.7 or the Oklahoma Catholic Radio Network.
• A Way with Kids: Decades ago, I started out in retail selling children’s shoes. I've always loved talking with kids and making them smile!
• Master of the Mic: Between interviewing country music stars on the radio and honing my public speaking as a Toastmasters District Officer, I know how to command a room—and keep an audience entertained.
• Santa’s Secret Recipe: I’m an avid baker! In the fall, you can usually find me selling my homemade baked goods alongside my wife’s beautiful handmade home decor at local arts and crafts shows.

After retiring in 2024 from managing a home health care agency (and previously running a business telecom company with my wife), I decided to let my beard grow. That's when the magic happened. Little kids started pointing, smiling, and waving at me in the grocery store—and of course, I always wave back!
I realized I had a calling. To make sure I am the most sincere, joyful, and authentic Santa I can be, I joined the Worldwide Santa Claus Network (WSCN). I participate in weekly webinars and advanced training to perfect my portrayal of the big guy in red.

Whether it's reading The Night Before Christmas to your little ones, bringing a burst of holiday cheer to your company party, leading the group to sing your favorite Christmas songs or taking photos with your family, I am ready to bring the true spirit of Christmas to your event.
