I have 20 + years of being "The Man", and am a fourth generation family Santa ( my great grandfather started this and it has been carried forward as a tradition through my family.) You can expect Santa to be extremely friendly, i come in with jingle bells a ringing and a song to sing! I enjoy meeting everyone, Children's especially, to make sure they aren't missing out on any last minute Christmas gift ideas. I also like to make sure they are in tip top shape on the naughty or nice list and of course pictures!. If there are any special requests , I'm open and flexible.

My name is Bill Schmids. I am 53 and a resident in Chester County. Raised in a Family of Santa’s I am a 4th generation Schmids Santa as my great grandfather, hand tailored his original suit back in the 1950s. We have since revamped his original to the one I wear now, maintaining the authentic look of the times. I truly enjoy Christmas and the magic of believing and am looking to take my portrayal to the next level.

Your comfort is most important to me. i am used to portraying this for family and close friends, and so i'm typically hands on - children on my lap hand on a shoulder. Absolutely happy to restrain that sort of familiarity as yours and your children's comfort is what is important too me.

A comfortable chair..If Santa is paying a visit, and you plan for photos, the better the chair, typically the better the pics.
If possible , a Fan pointed towards Santa's chair. it can get very warm in the suit, especially with the heat on. a floor fan can go a very long way in keeping Santa sweat free!
