1. Authentic and Fully Costumed
Santa Baba is a real-bearded Santa, dressed in a full professional costume. He is most often accompanied by Nana Claus, also in full festive attire, bringing extra warmth and charm to every event.
2. Engaging Holiday Activities
Santa Baba and Nana Claus are delighted to:
• Distribute gifts (provided by the host)
• Read a Christmas story to children—and “former children”
• Lead in singing holiday songs and carols
• Serve as the Master of Ceremonies for your event
3. Photos with Santa Baba and Nana Claus
We recommend setting up a queue or a sign-up sheet to help manage the flow of children waiting to visit Santa Baba and Nana Claus for photos. Children typically need a few minutes to feel comfortable, engage with Santa, and get into the spirit of the moment. Each photo session usually takes 3–5 minutes to allow for:
• A brief interaction between the child and Santa Baba and Nana Claus
• Parents preparing and capturing multiple shots
• Adjusting poses or including additional people in the photo
Nana Claus is happy to assist during the photo session or join in the pictures as well.
If your event includes 15 or more children, we strongly suggest hiring a professional photographer to help streamline the process and ensure a smooth, joyful experience for all.

The name “Santa Baba” has a special origin. When my oldest granddaughter was just 16 months old, I tried to teach her to call me “Papa.” But she had other plans—she chose “Baba” instead. I’ve grown to love it, and thus “Santa Baba” was born.
I’m a retired seminary professor (who still teaches occasionally), an ordained minister, and a lifelong lover of Christmas. I’ve been happily married to the love of my life, Barbara, for many years. She now joins me in spreading holiday cheer as the ever-gracious Nana Claus.
Together, we’ve raised four wonderful children and enjoy the blessings of five grandchildren. Over the course of my 40-year career, I earned a bachelor’s degree in music, two master’s degrees, and a Ph.D. Retirement has brought new joy as I now have the privilege of bringing the magic of Christmas to life—bringing smiles, laughter, and wonder to children and “former children” alike.
Christmas is a truly magical season—a time when peace, joy, and hope seem to settle over us like a soft snowfall. There’s a special reverence in the air, especially when sitting by the glow of a decorated tree.
When Santa Baba and Nana Claus visit your event, you’ll see wide eyes, delighted giggles, and hearts full of wonder. Children will be captivated, and adults will be reminded of the joy of the season. And who knows—perhaps, by embracing the true spirit of giving, we’ll all help make the world just a little brighter this Christmas.

Santa BaBa and Nana Claus are getting older and will need to have a periodic opportunity to be excused. As such, if at all possible, the set should be situated in such a fashion that they will be able to slip in and out quietly and not encounter any of the audience until they return to the set.
