Overview
The idea of playing Santa started when I missed my hair appointment. I noticed that the children would get excited when they would notice me. So I decided to get a santa hat and hand out candy canes at Christmas time. My first opportunity to wear the suit was when I was asked to be Santa for a retirement community.
I just graduated from Charles W. Howard Santa School in Midland in 2019. I had over 45 events last year.
For the last 8 yrs. I have volunteered as a Sunday school teacher for the two year olds and second graders.

In a year of Covid, we decided to bring Santa to us in a small outside setting. We had 4 families/ 10 kids and they are all still talking about Santa’s visit 2 days later. Santa Dan was easy to communicate with and arrived on time. He passed out gifts for the kids, listened to what they wanted for Christmas, read a story and did some magic tricks. The kids loved his candy cane trick where he made candy canes “disappeared” and appear in our front yard for a candy cane hunt (thanks dads for the help while Santa was reading). We posted some pictures on FB and received lots of comments about how great Santa looked.
Thanks Santa Dan for brining a little bit of normalcy to our kids in a very not normal year!

Our clients thoroughly enjoyed their Santa visit today. We had to do window visits for our AFC home but they loved it! He had a very beautiful Santa suit and was the perfect Santa!

Our kids were so surprised. He was great when the kids asked questions he had answers. He read books to them and handed out there gifts. Santa also played Candy land. Would definitely use again.
