Santa and Friends

This journey began from my own kids coming home one day sad and stating that a kid on the bus said that Santa wasn't real. So after a lengthy discussion and the kids deciding that Santa was real but they needed some way to reassure their friends as well. That year I bought my first suit, took pictures of Santa putting pictures under the tree, and a personalized note to them. Since then it has grown to family and friends having visits from Santa on Christmas Eve after the kids went to bed. Eventually, those children were to old for such things and thus began the professional Santa. Although I am not a real bearded Santa it is a custom wig and beard set which is refreshed and curled very often. I have a total of 9 years as Santa both professional and volunteer. A member of the Worldwide Santa Claus Network and the Michigan Association of Professional Santa's and a 2021 graduate of the Charles W Howard Santa School in Midland. In 2022, the Easter Bunny (Mr. Hops) joined the party so that we can bring joy to kids big and small more times of the year. Although the majority of the stops are still home visits, Santa has had the opportunity to be at basketball games for both Central Michigan University and Saginaw Valley State University. Santa and Mr. Hops have done many events from corporate parties to home visits to photo shoots and never are two events exactly the same.
