Sanovia

Sanovia was an absolute pleasure to work with. She performed "A Couple of Forevers" by Chrisette Michele during our ceremony, and for our reception she beautifully blended "Thinking Bout You" by Frank Ocean with "You" by Jesse Powell alongside her talented keyboardist. Every performance was tasteful, elegant, and perfectly executed.

She was prepared, punctual, highly communicative, and truly took the time to bring our vision to life. Her voice is absolutely beautiful, and her warm, positive energy made the experience even more special.

Sanovia recently performed at our home for my 50th birthday party! She is a powerful and galvanizing force with the most welcoming and inclusive presence. She has a terrific soulful voice that fills the whole space with passion and energy. Sanovia truly made my birthday special! I am forever grateful for the joy (and dancing!) I was able to experience with my friends and family because of Sanovia's incredible performance. Leading up to the event, Sanovia was very generous, asking for my wishlist of songs, and she did a great job communicating. In fact, she even arrived early before my party started to set up, just so she wouldn't disrupt the party. Sanovia is a gem of a person and a truly gifted performer. I most highly recommend her for any event!!!

Her voice carries so much soul—you can feel every word she sings. She blends R&B, soul, and gospel in a way that just hits different—uplifting and smooth at the same time. You can tell she’s not just singing, she’s ministering through her gift. That kind of voice comes from a place of truth and experience. Whether it's something soft and heartfelt or taking us to church, she leaves an impact. A true inspiration and blessing to listen to.

Sanovia came on stage and changed the energy of the room. Her voice was beautiful and honest. The way she shared pieces of herself between songs drew everyone closer. One of those nights that reminded us why we started Germantown Art & Sound.
