We hired Scott Samuels to perform at my best friend LaRue’s 60th birthday party, and I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about him. Scott didn’t just provide music for our party he helped create an experience that we will be talking about for years.
From the very beginning, Scott was incredible. He arrived early, was completely professional, and then proceeded to play for three straight hours without taking a break! His talent as a guitarist is absolutely amazing. He is an incredibly accomplished musician, and his musicality is truly off the charts.
What made Scott so special, though, was the way he interacted with everyone at the party. He brought an enormous playlist pages and pages of songs he knew and encouraged our guests to come up and sing with him. Before long, people were pulling out their phones to look up lyrics and taking turns singing while Scott accompanied them on guitar.
And this is where Scott really shines. Not everyone who got up to sing was confident or even knew the song perfectly, but it didn’t matter. Scott made EVERYONE feel comfortable. If someone got lost or wasn’t sure of the words or melody, he would lean in, sing along with them, guide them through it, and encourage them the entire time. There was never any pressure or embarrassment just laughter, music, encouragement, and pure fun.By the end of the night, it felt like Scott had brought the entire party together. We laughed. We sang, we cried. People who probably never imagined themselves getting up and singing were doing exactly that and having the time of their lives.Every single person at the party loved him.I have hired and seen entertainers before, but I can genuinely say that this was one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had with an entertainer. Scott has that rare combination of extraordinary musical talent and the ability to connect with people and make them feel like they are part of the performance.
LaRue’s 60th birthday was already a very special occasion for all of us, but Scott helped turn it into something truly unforgettable. I am so incredibly happy that we found him and were able to have him there.

Scott played during my daughter and now son-in-law's Rehearsal dinner as well as their Welcome Party. Scott was so fabulous and made both events so special! Not only is he an exceptionally talented artist, he is also extremely nice to work with, and very professional. He has a remarkable list of songs to choose from and he plays them without even looking at lyrics! Scott beautifully created a playlist which was perfect for our events! Our guests also really enjoyed the song lists he handed out so they could request songs they wanted to hear! Everyone was talking about the evening and how much they enjoyed listening to Scott play while simultaneously being able to talk with the other guests. Thank you to Scott for making my daughter's wedding weekend so wonderful!

Scott was exactly what we needed for my daughters 40th Birthday! His music was beyond our expectation. It was not too loud and he was entertaining. His play list was ongoing. The crowd was very impressed and we are so happy we chose him. Definately use Scott for our next event! Thank you !!

Scott was so accommodating throughout the evening. His pleasant demeanor and his specialized talent made a wonderful evening even better.

He has all songs memorized and doesn’t use props like most singers. His guitar skills are the best!
