Born in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, Iris Sandra Cepeda lead singer of Sandra's Band is a gifted vocalist and songwriter and graduate of Cuba’s National School of The Arts (Escuela Nacional de Arte). A charismatic performer who draws the attention of her audience in a theater setting and keeps the dance floor moving when performing in nightclubs.
A go-to vocalist for projects requiring authentic Cuban flavor, Iris has been called on to contribute her talents to soundtracks, album guest appearances, and festivals. Some highlights include:
