I’ve spent more than 25 years playing piano and perform at all kinds of events: weddings, cocktail hours, dinner parties, birthdays, religious and spiritual services, funerals, choir concerts, theater productions, corporate gatherings, senior living communities, fundraisers, and more. I studied piano performance at the University of Notre Dame.

We hired Samantha for a retirement celebration that just happen to fall during the holidays. She was of course on time and extremely professional and pleasant. The Christmas music she played was beautiful - recognizable and fun but classic and melodic - it was the perfect background to the day. She was very in tune with the speeches and interruptions of the event as well, tapering off and allowing each one without any awkward breaks. Our only regret is that we didn't utilize her for longer. Every guest noted her playing would have been welcomed throughout the rest of the lunch. This is the first time we have found ourselves in the need of a pianist, but next time we will know exactly who to request.

We really enjoyed Samantha at our Volunteer/Staff Christmas party. She played well, honored our musical requests (given to her prior to the event) and was friendly with all people she interacted with. She responded quickly to all communications. What to expect
I tailor every performance to the needs of the event and keep communication clear and professional from the initial quote to the final note and payment.
My typical setlist includes music from some of my biggest influences—Billy Joel, Elton John, John Legend, The Beatles, Coldplay, and many others. But I don’t stick to a fixed list! I’ll ask about the vibe you’re going for, your favorite artists or songs, and then share options I can play. From there, we’ll build the final playlist together, making adjustments up to a week before your event. If you have a specific request, I’ll do everything I can to learn and deliver it.
I’m glad to share my cell number for direct communication and always respond within 24 hours.
About
Playing the piano brings me immense joy. I started at age seven and love it more every day.
At 32, I carry a wide range of experience. I studied Piano Performance at the University of Notre Dame and accompanied choirs and theater groups throughout high school and college. I’ve played for weddings, cocktail hours, funerals, fundraisers, dinner and holiday parties, senior living communities, and beyond. I always look forward to adding new events and venues to my repertoire.
I work full-time in nonprofit tech, and I spend my evenings and weekends sharing music with others.

Influences and inspiration
My musical influences span timeless classics and modern indie favorites, shaping a sound that’s warm, heartfelt, and deeply versatile. I draw inspiration from the storytelling and harmonies of Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, and The Head and the Heart; the poetic depth of Joni Mitchell and Bon Iver; the anthemic style of Coldplay; and the soulful pop of John Legend and Jon McLaughlin. I also owe so much of my love for piano-driven music to legends like Billy Joel, Elton John, and The Beatles.
