Sam is a versatile upright and electric bassist originating from Upstate New York. He studied at the world - renowned Berklee College of Music. Sam knows good music and knows how to cater it to any event. What he offers:
Jazz 3-4 piece Band: Upright bass with guitar, drums, and horn.
3-6 Piece Party Band: Can play any genre requested. Band will be made up of musicians who play consistently on Broadway and have been to school to do this professionally.

January 24, 2024Sam & Ivy were absolutely wonderful! They are such talented musicians, and were communicative and professional from start to finish. They arrived an hour prior to the event's start, which left plenty of time for set-up and discussing last minute details. During the event, they played a beautiful array of classic songs, and I saw many of our guests singing along. They even graciously allowed us to borrow their microphone briefly during the event to make a few announcements. We got so much positive feedback about Sam & Ivy from our guests – and we'll certainly have them back for another event in the future.

We can either play with or without vocals:
Many clients wish us to only be the background. We can fit those clients' needs by keeping things strictly instrumental (jazz, acoustic pop, etc.). However, don't be hasty on adding vocals! We can also keep those in volume if background is what you're looking for.
A lot of clients wish us to be completely heard as well! We can keep that upbeat house party going by raising our volume, while keeping the quality of musicianship just as amazing. This is where most clients will want vocals added.
