I play with different kinds of ensembles (solo, duo, trio quartet...), mainly play jazz, wich is perfect for creating a warm and confortable atmosphere.
Sam Giraldo is a Montreal-based jazz guitarist, composer, and bandleader whose music is rooted in tradition yet driven by innovation. Deeply inspired by the timeless artistry of John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, and Sonny Stitt, Sam brings a voice that is both grounded in the bebop and post-bop traditions and unafraid to push their boundaries. He is quickly building experience through frequent performances across Montreal’s jazz scene, both as a bandleader and a sideman.
Currently a student at McGill University’s Schulich School of Music, one of Canada’s leading institutions for jazz education. In 2024, his work was recognized with the Student Composers Prize at Montreal’s Oddsound Festival — an award that highlights his emerging talent, musical maturity, and distinctive voice as a composer.
It all depends on what the event is, but generally, I don't have any requirements.

I have played and still paying sometimes in some jazz bars around the city of montreal like the Dièse Onze, Upstairs and other similiar venues. I Also started playing at a young age in the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion for some private events, cafés and local scene that required some jazz music.
No requirements, i have my own equipement.
