We were very impressed with his ability to work a small group with attendees in their 20’s, 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Especially impressed with his ability to incorporate the “hecklers” into his material. Sam, now based in Denver, is originally from a suburb of a suburb in Minnesota. After he left small-town America for the Pacific Northwest, he started his comedy career with a grassroots comedy show in college that earned two Northwest Emmy Nominations (Which is not fake. It is a very real regional awards ceremony).
