Operating from within the classic organ trio format (Hammond B3 organ, guitar, and drums) Saint Thursday offers a diverse musical experience of covers and standards. Modeled after the Stax Records sound and bands like The City Champs, Booker T. and The MGs, and the Organ Fairchild, we tailor the vibe to whatever your event needs. Collectively, our members have years of experience and have been in bands including Dalmatian Stone, Hark Up Ministries, the Drs of Jazz, Missing Days, Crooked Spires, The Band Cordero, The Parachute Adams Band, Tanner J Burns, and have played the hired gun part for many, many acts. We would love to come entertain your guests and share our music with you!

I’ve had the privilege of working with Micah multiple times in a 9 piece horn band playing Motown AND in a 5 piece band playing funk & pop hits. Both experiences were what you’d expect from a professional. Great attitude, knew the material and played like a musician that listens to the band. Micah would be a great addition to any band needing keys and would help elevate the music. You’ll definitely catch Micah with my current band again!

Thom Vander Velden is a West Michigan drummer best known as a core member of Crooked Spires, a psych‑rock‑with‑soul trio blending alternative, roots, and garage influences. Currently with Saint Thursday the band is based in the Holland area, where Vander Velden has been involved in songwriting, recording, and performing. He has also been associated with Westshore Music Academy.
Jon Lindman is a West Michigan guitarist singer‑songwriter and performer known for his live appearances across the Kalamazoo and Holland music scenes. He has performed at venues such as Sit and Stay Winery in downtown Kalamazoo as a featured live‑music artist.
Micah VanderHill is a versatile Midwest keyboardist known for blending technical precision with expressive, story‑driven playing. Skilled on piano, organ, and synths, he brings a rich sonic palette to genres spanning gospel, jazz, soul, indie, and cinematic music. Micah has supported regional acts on stage, contributed to studio projects, and crafted arrangements that elevate the artists he works with.
SAINT THURSDAY is a professional band with the ability to bring their own backline and PA. Sets can be customized and scaled up and down as needed for the event. If you need a tight 3 piece or a whole band we can deliver. We ask a
minimum stage or area size of 12’ by 16’ for a trio.
