Sage Park - Violinist

I work around the client's needs! Whatever type of music the event calls for, I can provide.

Originally from Los Angeles, violinist Sage Park began her violin studies at age 9, and made her orchestral debut at age 12 with the South Coast Symphony. Praised for her great purity and nuanced performance, she previously held a position in the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Prior to her work in Indianapolis, she has performed with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Mortizburg Festival Orchestra, and the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra. She spent three summers as a fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center, and was a Fromm fellow for two additional summers, specializing in music by living composers. She held the concertmaster position at the Indiana University New Music Ensemble, and has been a guest artist with the Lirios Quartet based in Boulder, CO as well as Blackbox Ensemble in New York City.

In addition to her orchestral work, Sage was a part of the Listeso String Quartet based in Indianapolis, performing primarily at weddings, corporate and private events for the last six years.

A passionate educator, Sage has held staff positions at the Suzuki School of Boston, Stafford Music Academy, and the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic strings programs. In her final year of graduate studies, she was also the Associate Instructor at Indiana University, primarily keeping a studio of non-majors and underclassmen. She has been part off the educational outreach week at Bravo! Vail festival, teaching and performing for a young group of string students.

Sage holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Violin Performance, from the New England Conservatory and the IU Jacobs School of Music.

A microphone may be a requirement depending on the venue (ex. outdoors with large audience)
