Overview

Ryan and his typewriter set up at a table in your event, along with a sign that encourages guests to take a seat across from him and request a poem.

Ryan asks a few questions about what sort of poem they’d like him to write. They can provide words, topics, feelings, types of poems…

Within 5 minutes their custom poem is typed out, a physical poem to take home, as well as read aloud, a nonphysical poem for the ears.

These poetic encounters offer a unique, personalized, interactive experience that leave a lasting impression long after the event has ended.

Amazing Performance Art That Will Elevate Any Event

Ryan performed for our Board at an annual charitable event and was such a hit that he quickly had a line of guests / attendees thinking about their prompts for his rapid-fire poetry. He arrives with his own vintage typewriter, you discuss a prompt with him, and a few clickety-clacks later his creative mind presents a personal custom poem with a frameable souvenir take-home paper. From dinner party to office event, street festival to gala, museum to tavern, this is a fun, creative, crowd-pleasing interactive experience from a passionate professional that everyone will enjoy! Super flexible and accommodating about customizing to your specific event needs, too. Highly recommend.

My wedding guests rave about Ryan's poetry!

My wife and I first ran into Ryan at the WNDR Museum in Chicago, and we both agreed that the poem he wrote for us was one of the coolest parts of our visit.

Fast forward about a year to when we were planning our wedding... We figured it couldn't hurt to reach out to Ryan and ask if he'd be up for doing the same thing at our reception for our wedding guests. I'm so glad we did, because everyone I talk to raves about how awesome Ryan was, and how much they cherish the poems he wrote for them.

My wife and I, along with all our wedding guests, have had nothing but great things to say about Ryan. If you're thinking about hiring him, do it. I promise you won't regret it.
