I Play a wide variety of covers, as well as originals, as a solo acoustic act. With the help of a loop station, i can effectively mimic a three-piece band and do my own harmonies. I love to do cover songs completely differently from the originals, jam out, and have fun.

An audience member should expect a wide variety of musical styles and subject matter. I'm a one man solo act, but don't expect your typical subtle coffee shop acoustic act. with the loop pedal, i have the ability to create a full range of sound including percussion, bass, lead guitar, and complex harmonies. Expect a high energy performance but a nuanced setlist riddled with mashups and creative new takes on some of your favorites, your parents' favorites, and maybe even your kids' favorites. Requests can be fun as well. If you have a request that I'm somewhat familiar with, I have the resources to look it up and give it a shot. And that makes for something pretty entertaining. I'll have fun with it, but it may not be quite the version you expected. In fact, I LOVE to do the unexpected.
I grew up in northern Illinois, Right near the state line between Chicago and Milwaukee. I started playing in a successful band there back in 2005. While our style was completely different from what I do now, I learned a lot from that experience. We disbanded in 2010, and about a year later, I embarked on my solo project. Now, I have an extensive list of originals as well as a laundry list of covers from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, and today. My musical styles range from Folk and Country to Reggae and Hip Hop, and everything in between. I can sculpt my setlist to cater to pretty much any single demographic: 40-60, 30-40, 20's, or kids, Or mix it up to cater multiple age groups. My favorite songs to play are my own, and i love to make covers my own and get creative with it. I use a loop pedal as well as an octave pedal which enables me to bridge the gap between a solo acoustic act and a full band through a full range of sound and layering. For instance, I can recreate all four vocal parts in The Band's "The Weight", or do the bass, drums, rhythm and lead guitar while singing Bill Withers' "Use Me Up". I'm A bigger music listener even than a musician, so I'm always Finding new songs to cover, and I'm always finding new influences. Which is Important if you want to keep your audience experiencing something new every time they see you.
My sound system is sufficient for a 300-400 capacity room or an open air venue.
