Chris Weist, often seen fronting the award-winning bluegrass band Wood Belly, is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter with a deep well of material spanning high-lonesome bluegrass, classic country, finger-style folk, and a rich catalog of original songs. His performances deliver more than just music, they create a resonant experience that captivates listeners and leaves a lasting impression.
Originally trained on drums, Chris has since mastered guitar (acoustic and electric), mandolin, and fiddle, making him a versatile and dynamic performer. Whether on stage or in an intimate setting, Chris brings heart, skill, and authenticity; just the musician you’ve been looking for.
