Born & raised in New Jersey with roots in India, Southeast Africa, London, and Toronto, RUSHIL draws from an array of musical influences. He started his journey at age 6 with a combination of Indian Classical and Pop music. At just 11 years of age, he started producing & writing his own music, and by 18, he was releasing original music and performing across the Northeast.
Drawing inspiration from the world’s biggest stars from Pop and R&B along with an array of global soundscapes, RUSHIL is shaping his own, unique sonic brand: a Pop/R&B forward sound harmoniously blending a myriad of culturally influenced inspirations through vocal centric melodies, “larger than life” soundscapes, and lyrical depth.
This begins with his debut EP “Subject To Change” (2026), a one of a kind project exploring themes of love, loss, nostalgia, and redirection through a culturally influenced Pop and R&B soundscape. Touring the project on his debut headline tour across 5 North American cities, RUSHIL is a global sensation & story rapidly entering the stratosphere.
