Forgiveness is a very strong topic, as well as the effect of perspective on how the listener understands life events.
I often start my messages with "My job as a speaker is to mess with your mind. I have a three-step goal. The easy goal is to wake you up. The goal that's a little harder is to get you to think. The ultimate goal is to change the way you think."

Spiritual teacher and author Paul McKinley was born in Virginia and educated at the University of Texas, where he earned a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. McKinley has had a widely varied career starting as a water-well pipe-stabber, motorcycle mechanic, research assistant, and engineer. As an engineer he worked on projects ranging from designing computer equipment to robotic aircraft part manufacturing to automating bowling ball manufacturing. He moved to providing computer support and eventually worked 15+ years as an independent consultant providing expertise on High Availability Clustering.
When he was twenty two years old his brother Mike was killed in a helicopter crash, which started him on a lifelong journey of spiritual discovery and enlightenment. For a time he served as a Methodist Certified Layspeaker, before being introduced to the Unity movement at a screening of the movie "The People Vs. The State of Illusion" by Austin Vickers at the Unity Church of the Hills in Austin TX. He served as a rotational speaker for Unity of Temple before moving back to Virginia where he is a member of Unity of Charlottesville.
Paul currently lives in Virtinia, where he teaches about spiritual concepts, especially forgiveness, as well as running a computer business providing information technology support for local small businesses, and working in real estate restoring distressed properties. He is also an energy healer, practicing Reiki as well as a similar method that he had developed prior to his Reiki attunement.

A PA system would be helpful but not usually necessary as I have a voice that carries. Depending on the talk a projection system for a powerpoint presentation might be helpful.
