Charlotte Johnson (Ruby) is an indie-pop songwriter currently attending McNally Smith College of Music for vocal performance & music business. Her songwriting encompasses a wide variety of influences ranging from Stevie Nicks and Carole King, to Sia and Alina Baraz. If you're looking for versatility, Ruby in the Clouds dabbles in numerous genres. In addition to her original music, Ruby sings bossa nova, jazz, pop, indie-rock, and alternative. The instrumentation of Ruby in the Clouds includes keys, guitar, drums, and bass. We look forward to working with you!

May 4, 2017It was very fun to watch Ruby in the Clouds perform at Ginkgo Coffeehouse. Despite the lack of proper sound equipment they managed to entertain and surprise. The lead singer enjoys performing, you can tell, and they have a good chemistry.
