TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

To ensure a safe, polished, and seamless performance, Royal y Ritmo requires the following information and accommodations prior to the event:

1. Stage or Performance Area

Because our shows include dynamic movement, turns, traveling patterns, and partner work, it is essential that we receive:

• A clear photo of the performance area
• Exact stage or floor dimensions (length, width, and ceiling height)
• Flooring type (wood, tile, concrete, carpet, etc.)
• Confirmation that the area will be flat, clean, and free of obstructions

Minimum recommended space:
• Solo/duo performances: 10’ x 10’
• Small cast (3–4 dancers): 12’ x 15’
• Full cast or feature shows: 15’ x 20’ or larger

(We can adapt, but accurate dimensions are required before confirming choreography.)

2. Sound Requirements

Royal y Ritmo performs to high-quality, pre-edited audio tracks. For best results, we request:

• A professional-grade sound system appropriate to the venue size
• An AUX, Bluetooth, or USB connection for our music
• A sound check prior to guest arrival

If no sound system is available, we can bring our own portable setup upon request (additional charge).

3. Lighting Requirements

Preferred but not mandatory:

• Adequate stage or ambient lighting to ensure visibility and safety
• Colored or performance lights are welcome but not required
• For nighttime outdoor events, sufficient illumination is essential

We can adapt to most lighting conditions as long as the space is safely lit.

4. Changing Room / Preparation Area

For costuming, makeup, and transitions:

• A private changing room or designated backstage area is required
• The space should include:
– Mirror
– Good lighting
– Chairs or a small table
– Enough room for performers and costume changes

For full shows or showgirl/cabaret sets, a secure private room is strongly preferred.

5. Run of Show & Logistics

Before the event, we request:

• Event timeline and performance schedule
• Load-in/load-out instructions
• Venue contact person for the day-of
• Parking or unloading information

6. Safety & Environment

• Performance area must be dry, non-slip, and safe for movement
• Outdoor events must have a contingency plan in case of weather
• No fog machines or effects that make floors slippery unless previously approved
