As the dedicated local crawfish experts, our small, hands-on two-person team arrives ready to curate your ultimate New Orleans experience. We believe a great party means great atmosphere, so we skip the big, impersonal industrial trailers to build a stunning, rustic, authentic serving station designed for the best party photos and flow. We personally manage every element of the boil, delivering Louisiana's freshest crawfish with explosive flavor that only a local, hands-on operation can guarantee. We handle the entire spectacle, from the perfect boil timing to the dramatic final dump and complete cleanup, ensuring you and your crew spend every moment celebrating.

Additional Information:

Main Focus: Our specialty is high-quality, authentic Louisiana Crawfish boiled to perfection. Please note that crawfish are seasonal, typically available from approximately February through June.
Oysters & More: We expertly provide Raw Bar Oysters and Chargrilled Oysters (seasonal availability) as well as year-round Gulf Shrimp Boils.
Team Size: We operate with a dedicated two-person team to ensure maximum quality control and personalized service at every event.
Setup: We fit in great anywhere :). Want an 18-foot-long crawfish table dump? We got you. Want oysters served in the living room. We got you. We love weird.

We’re Clayton and Shahinoor — married and the hands-on team behind Rougarou Shuckers, a small-batch crawfish catering crew that feels like family, not a corporation.

Shahinoor was born in Egypt and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana is in her bones; she brings bayou know-how, festival experience, and sharp marketing instincts. Clayton is from New England and has lived in New Orleans since 2012; he’s worked in restaurants and tech — and yes, he used to run lobster bakes before swapping the bibs for mudbugs.

Over the past 10 months, we’ve been showing up to backyards, pop-ups, and neighborhood gatherings with honest boils, friendly service, and zero corporate BS. We’re not trying to be the biggest — we want to be the best.
