Rose Harp Studios has performed at countless weddings, events, and parties over the last couple of years. For weddings, I provide pre-ceremony music, ceremony and aisle songs, cocktail hour entertainment, and at receptions.

Alexandra Rose Ong is a professional harpist and opera singer residing in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been playing the harp for 20 years, beginning at age 7 and playing in her first professional concerts and orchestras at age 8.
A musician from a very young age, Alexandra Rose continues her love of harp and classical music by performing at weddings, private events, birthday parties, corporate and non-profit fundraisers, and with orchestras, bands, and symphonies across the country. She has composed for short films and small ensembles, and has recorded for professional bands, orchestras, and film scores.
Alexandra Rose received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and went on to receive her Master of Arts in Teaching, with a concentration in teaching music. She teaches young artists harp and voice, and has a thriving music studio based in Landis, North Carolina.
The harp is a big instrument! Any client I work with will ensure that the venue is accessible for the harp and harpist; for example, that there are ramps for the harp to enter buildings, accessible doors to the venue without more than 4-5 stairs, that there is an elevator to get between different floors of a multi-floor building.
If applicable for the event, the client will put Rose Harp Studio in contact with any event planner, coordinator, or AV manager so that they can discuss specifics of the event.
Transporting the harp includes a large moving dolly and many covers for the instrument. The client or event coordinator should ensure that there is a space to store the harp moving equipment.
