Overview

Folk musicians and singer/songwriter. Multi instrumentalist. Ron Carlson
I have been performing in Central Massachusetts and beyond for much of the last 4 decades, singing traditional and contemporary folk music, as well as many original songs. I’ve often been told that my original songs sound like traditional material; I take pride in that. Many of my compositions are centered in and around Worcester and the surrounding areas where I was born and live to this day. They are songs of love and sorrow, pain and joy, filtered through my eyes; sometimes whimsical, sometimes philosophical, hopefully with compassion and empathy.

We had a 80 th birthday party for my friend.

Ron was excellent he showed up early and set up. Very easy going we requested folk style music so it was a banjo, mandolin, and six string one amp. He played for 3 plus hours took requests and looked like he enjoyed himself. Will definitely have him back. Thank you.

Hired as: Multi-Instrumentalist, One Man Band

If I looked like I was having fun it’s because I most definitely was. The folks at this Birthday party were tremendous. I’d gladly perform for this bunch ant time, any where.
