Rocky LeRoe is the classic rock act you've been looking for. Her free-spirited sound takes you right back to Almost Famous, and explores runaways, adventure, and the power of an angry woman with a microphone. Rocky is a songwriter for those listening with a cigarette in hand.
Born and raised in Indianaland, Rocky came to Nashville bearing the sound of the 70's. Inspired by Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Fleetwood Mac, and Joni Mitchell, LeRoe cuts through the music scene with a nostalgic but familiar sound. Her taste for Robert Plant and Grace Slick seeps through the cracks between electric guitar licks. Her storytelling reaches across her love life and itch to get out of here, captured in her debut record Tambourine. Each song Rocky pens details her mind-palace of curiosity and desire to be known.
Rocky's powerhouse vocals have defined her sound at venues across America. Performing across the Midwest and Nashville with her 4 piece rock band, she's reached people of all walks of life with her voice. The heartache of rock and roll isn't lost. This was recently captured on tape with her upcoming release "Side-B" out September this year. Rocky is a live artist, and the room can tell.
