Property Damage: Covers accidental damage to the venue’s property or third-party belongings caused by the performance or setup/teardown process. Medical Payments: Provides coverage for immediate medical expenses for any third party injured during the event, regardless of fault. Personal and Advertising Injury: Protects against claims of libel, slander, or defamation that might arise from promotional activities or the performance itself.

3. Sound System
PA System:
2 x 500W powered speakers for front-of-house (FOH).
Subwoofer (optional, depending on venue size).
Mixing console with at least 4 channels.
Monitors:
1 floor monitor for personal sound (preferably with its own mix).
Microphones:
1 vocal microphone (Shure SM58 or equivalent) with boom stand.
1 instrument microphone (Shure SM57 or equivalent) if using acoustic instruments.
DI box for guitar if direct input is preferred.
Cables:
Sufficient XLR cables for microphones.
1/4" cables for guitar and other instruments.
USB or Lightning cables for connecting iPad or other digital devices.
Power strips and extension cords.
4. Lighting
Basic Lighting:
4-6 PAR cans or LED lights focused on the performer.
Color gels or programmable LED lights for mood changes.
Control:
Simple lighting controller (if using programmable lights).
Spotlight (optional):
A small spotlight to highlight the performer.
5. Additional Requirements
Power:
Minimum of 2 dedicated 20A circuits for stage power.
Separate circuit for lights to avoid interference with audio equipment.
Stage Plot:
A simple stage plot indicating where the performer, microphone, iPad, and any other devices will be placed.
Soundcheck:
30-60 minutes prior to the show for soundcheck to balance levels and ensure all equipment is working properly.
6. Miscellaneous
Merchandise Table:
Space near the entrance or exit for selling merchandise.
6' table with lighting if performing at a county fair.
Hospitality:
Bottled water and a small backstage area to prepare before the show.
This setup is designed to support a one-person music presentation, ensuring a smooth and professional performance using both traditional instruments and modern digital tools.
