Love seeing this guy when I come to the Asbury Park boardwalk. Engaging magic and humor. Makes everyone watching feel drawn into the show. Tip him well so he keeps coming back!
Comedy Magician

My husband and I saw Robert on the boardwalk in Asbury Park, N.J. many times. He is a constant delight with his humor and his magic ( which is incredible ). I would recommend him to anyone that has an event where they want excellent entertainment and a fun all-around guy. Looking forward to seeing him again this summer on the boardwalk.

Very entertaining and I would recommend hiring him for a private venue.

About
The Dork of Deception is the not-quite alter ego of Robert Francis. "Not quite," because I am certainly a dork. It's not like I am Clark Kent and then transform into some studly Superman. I am pretty much Clark Kent all the time.
Anyway, I'm a magician. I perform all over the country, mainly on the east coast!
I started my long road into magic when i was 5 years old, and I've been doing it ever since. My parents always wanted me to be a magician. I wanted to be a doctor, but mom and dad always encouraged me to become a magician, and I cannot let them down. So, i became the loveable, magical dork you see before your own eyes.

Asbury Park National Night Out,
performing for families attending crime-prevention event filled
with annual activities and community representatives.
Blueclaws Baseball and NASCAR strolling around performing close-up magic and sleight for
passersby at large-scale sports events attended by thousands.
National magic conventions such as Kutztown, PA and Magic Fun Day. The largest was Funarama in Maryland!
These days, you may have seen me on the boardwalks of Seaside and Asbury Park, NJ, where I perform daily, or heard me on New Jersey 101.5 FM, where I was on a stop of the Dennis & Judy Diner Tour May 1 2009 (Four Seasons in Toms River, where I performed a card trick on-air and entertained everyone at the restaurnat) . I recently met up with Dennis & Judy again, and performed for them on the Asbury Park boardwalk in the summer of 2013 and 2014. I have also been heard on 94.3 The Point.
