What to expect
For home visits, I will have memorized information about the children in advance so that things may be casually dropped in conversation or directly questioning of the children about their year. I will happily pose for as many photos as family desires, giving more options and time than they can receive in a retail setting.
Usually I will read a few stories from Christmas books; both religious and secular are available. Parent provided gifts will be distributed and each child will have opportunities and time for a personal visit with Santa.
For municipal or corporate events, I will be a jolly, gregarious character willing to lead games, emcee events, patiently pose for lots of photos or do whatever is needed to add a magical touch to a holiday gathering.
About
As an actor for over 30 years, River Region Santa is comfortable working with large groups or small family visits.
I try to attend a Santa School or some sort of formalized training annually to keep up with trends or maintain skills and motivation.
