What to expect

If an audience came to see me, here’s what they would experience:

They wouldn’t just see a man on stage delivering words; they would feel a shift from the moment I step into the room.

They’d feel the energy. The kind that doesn’t just grab attention, it holds it. The kind that forces you to lean in, pay attention, and think, This is different.

They’d see a speaker who’s not just reciting stories or running through a PowerPoint, but a leader who has lived leadership under fire, who knows what it’s like to have the clock ticking, the stakes high, and the eyes of a team looking to you for the answer.

They would see a presence forged in the extremes:

Twenty-eight years on high-pressure sidelines as a Division I Championship Coach, developing NFL-caliber athletes and building teams that win together, not just play together.

Executive leadership that turned a struggling company into a NYSE success story, raising millions, going public, and creating a mission-driven culture in the middle of chaos.

They’d see a high-energy keynote filled with raw truth, emotional power, and contagious intensity, the kind that inspires an audience not just for the moment, but for the long run.

They’d hear stories that aren’t just entertaining, but deeply relevant to their battles, the quiet battles of doubt, burnout, pressure, and uncertainty. They’d learn that those challenges are not proof of weakness, but the raw material for greatness.

They’d walk away with more than motivation, they’d leave with clarity, conviction, and tools they can use immediately to lead, perform, and live at a higher level.

If a client hired me, here’s what they would get:

When you hire me, you’re not just booking a “talk.” You’re securing a strategic, high-impact experience designed to meet your goals and create lasting momentum in your organization or event.

Here’s what that looks like:

1. Pre-Event Alignment
A deep-dive conversation (or series of conversations) to understand your organization’s culture, challenges, and desired outcomes.

Custom tailoring of stories, examples, and strategies so your audience hears a message that sounds like it was built just for them.

Coordination with your event team to ensure the talk aligns perfectly with the event flow and your big-picture vision.

2. High-Energy Keynote Delivery
Immediate connection with the audience through authenticity, humor, and an undeniable stage presence.

The RISE Leadership Framework comprises six principles that foster self-leadership, emotional resilience, authenticity, purpose-driven execution, grit, and empowerment.

Real-world strategies tested in the arenas of sports, business, and life are practical, memorable, and instantly applicable.

Dynamic use of voice, pacing, and audience engagement to keep energy high and attention locked in.

A blend of storytelling, coaching, and high-performance mindset training that ensures every attendee walks away with both an emotional lift and a practical next step.

3. Post-Talk Momentum Builders
A keynote should serve as a launch point, not a finish line. That’s why I offer follow-up programs and add-ons to keep your team moving forward:

Breakout sessions to go deeper into specific leadership or performance topics.

Workshops are designed to practice and implement strategies from the keynote.

RISE Coaching Programs (1:1 or group) to create lasting transformation in leadership and execution.

Monthly check-ins or virtual sessions to keep accountability high and momentum strong.

Custom RISE Journals and Leadership Playbooks so the message doesn’t fade once the lights go down.

4. Tangible Outcomes
When you bring me in, here’s what your audience and organization can expect:

Stronger self-leadership means your people own their role, take initiative, and show up fully.

Those with higher emotional resilience perform under pressure instead of cracking under it.

Greater team cohesion, silos break down, trust rises, and execution sharpens.

A more explicit purpose and alignment enable individuals and teams to understand how their work connects to the bigger mission.

The Style & Experience
Clients often tell me the same thing:

“You didn’t just speak to us. You spoke into us.”

I don’t just stand on stage, I move through the crowd. I lock eyes. I react to the room in real time. I pull people in. I challenge them. I invite them to see themselves in a bigger way than they have in years.

There’s laughter. There’s reflection. There are moments when you can feel the silence because the words are hitting somewhere deep. And there’s an undeniable surge of energy when they realize they’re not broken, they’re being built.

Why Clients Choose Me
Proven leadership at the highest levels in sports and business.

Customization — no canned talks, no one-size-fits-all stories.

Execution focus — I don’t just inspire; I equip.

Follow-through — my programs are designed to make sure the impact lasts far beyond the applause.

Whether your event is a corporate leadership summit, a sales rally, an association conference, or an internal culture reset, I bring the same level of preparation, passion, and performance.

Bottom Line
If your audience comes to see me, they will leave differently. Not just motivated, but ready. Not just inspired, but equipped. Not just fired up, but committed to leading themselves and others with relentless purpose.

And if you hire me, you’re not just booking a speaker, you’re partnering with a leader who knows how to create moments that turn into momentum.

About

Jeff “Coach Heck” Hecklinski

Executive Leader • Championship Coach • Leadership Architect • Keynote Speaker

Jeff “Coach Heck” Hecklinski is no stranger to pressure. For nearly three decades, he has led in environments where the lights burn brightest, the stakes are highest, and the margin for error is minimal. He has built championship teams on the sidelines of elite Division I football programs and steered a public company through the intense demands of Wall Street, all while staying grounded in the values that define his life: resilience, authenticity, and service.

Known nationally as “Coach Heck”, his career spans 28 years of leadership at powerhouse football programs, including Michigan, San Diego State, Illinois, and Kansas. On the field, he developed NFL-caliber talent and designed high-performance systems that thrive under pressure. In meeting rooms and locker rooms, he cultivated trust, accountability, and an unshakable belief, the kind of culture where teams don’t just survive adversity, but rise above it.

In 2022, Coach Heck made the rare pivot from athletics to the corporate arena, stepping in as President of Signing Day Sports (NYSE: SGN). Within months, he led a financial turnaround, orchestrated a successful IPO on the NYSE American, and raised over $6 million in funding, all while keeping the company’s mission of athlete empowerment at the center. His ability to translate competitive grit into boardroom execution has made him a sought-after voice for leaders, executives, and organizations aiming to win in their own high-stakes arenas.

Speaking with Impact

When Coach Heck steps on stage, audiences feel it.

He doesn’t bring theory. He brings battle-tested truth, forged in the heat of game day, crisis management, corporate pivots, and personal adversity. His TEDx talks and keynote presentations blend sports, business, and life into an emotionally charged experience that leaves people not just inspired, but equipped with tools they can use immediately.

His sessions are built on three pillars:

Self-Leadership – Owning your reflection before leading anyone else.

Emotional Toughness – Performing under pressure without losing who you are.

Purpose-Driven Execution – Closing the gap between intention and action with relentless precision.

Audiences walk away with clarity on their mission, confidence in their abilities, and the drive to lead differently, not just at work, but also at home and in their communities.

A Family-Rooted Legacy

Jeff’s professional journey is only part of his story. His most defining moments come from the battles fought off the field.

In 2011, while coaching at the University of Michigan, Jeff’s wife Tiffany, herself the daughter of a football coach, was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer. In an instant, life shifted from game plans and recruiting boards to hospital rooms and treatment schedules. The fight was grueling. Surgeries. Chemotherapy. Uncertainty. And yet, through every step, they were surrounded by the unwavering support of the coaching community, proof that true strength is found in unity.

Over a decade later, Tiffany is not only cancer-free but thriving. She earned her Ph.D. and now serves as Co-Founder and COO of Exalt Clinical Research, impacting countless lives through medical advancement and patient care. Together, Jeff and Tiffany have raised three extraordinary children:

Riley – Director of Player Engagement for Texas A&M Football, carrying forward the family’s leadership legacy in one of the most competitive programs in the nation.

Mikey – A collegiate baseball pitcher majoring in Kinesiology at McKendree University, blending athletics with academic excellence.

JR – An offensive lineman at New Mexico State University majoring in Criminal Justice, embodying the grit, discipline, and commitment that define the Hecklinski name.

Their family’s journey reflects the message Jeff brings to every stage: adversity doesn’t break you, it builds you.

What Coach Heck Brings To The Stage

Whether speaking to executives, athletes, educators, or community leaders, Coach Heck delivers a rare combination of storytelling, strategy, and soul. His audience's experience:

Authenticity – Every insight comes from lived experience in the trenches of leadership.

Storytelling Power – Weaving family, adversity, and leadership into a narrative that’s relatable, captivating, and actionable.

Mindset Blueprint – Practical tools for building resilience, clarifying identity, and leading with purpose.

High-Performance Energy – The same contagious intensity that drives teams to peak performance under pressure.

From the mirror in the morning to the mission outside, he equips people to lead at the highest level, even when everything is on the line.

The SAVAGE & RISE Frameworks

EMOTIONAL TOUGHNESS – Own the storm inside

AUTHENTICITY – Forge your true identity

PURPOSE-DRIVEN – Bridge the gap between intention and execution

EXECUTION (Weekly) – Move with relentless precision

These frameworks form the backbone of his keynotes, ensuring audiences leave with actionable clarity rather than vague motivation.

Influences and inspiration

Influences

The Development of My On-Stage Style & Presence

My style on stage didn’t come from reading a manual or copying other speakers; it was forged in life’s most brutal and beautiful moments.

In 2011, my wife Tiffany was diagnosed with Stage III colorectal cancer. One moment, we were chasing dreams and raising our family, the next, we were sitting in a hospital room, facing a fight we didn’t ask for. I watched the strongest person I know battle for her life with courage, grace, and an unshakable will to keep going. I stood by her through surgeries, treatments, and the long nights of uncertainty, and somewhere in those moments, I learned that leadership isn’t about the spotlight. It’s about showing up when it’s hardest, when the outcome is unclear, and when someone you love needs your strength more than you need your comfort.

That experience changed me, as a man, as a leader, and as a speaker. It stripped away pretense and ego, replacing them with caring, accountability, understanding, and deep emotion. When I step on stage now, I’m not there to “perform.” I’m there to connect. I’m there to see people, really see them, in the battles they fight that no one else notices. My presence is a blend of intensity and empathy, power and compassion. It’s built on the belief that every person in the room is carrying something heavy, and my job is to give them the tools, the perspective, and the fire to keep moving forward.

Championship Coaches Who Built Cultures That Win

From my earliest days on the sidelines, I have learned from leaders like Lou Holtz, Nick Saban, Tony Dungy, and Urban Meyer, not just for their winning records, but for their ability to build high-trust cultures where every player understands their role and buys into the mission. I learned that discipline, clarity, and accountability are non-negotiable in building teams that thrive under pressure.

Military and Special Operations Leaders

The discipline and resilience of leaders like Admiral William McRaven and General Colin Powell demonstrated to me that execution in high-stakes environments is rooted in preparation, adaptability, and trust. These influences taught me that leaders don’t rise to the occasion, they fall back on their training.

Transformational Business Leaders

From the corporate world, I’ve drawn inspiration from leaders like Howard Schultz (Starbucks), Indra Nooyi (PepsiCo), and Bob Iger (Disney), visionaries who led with both strategic excellence and human connection. Their leadership reinforced my belief that purpose must drive performance if you want a culture that lasts.

High-Impact Communicators

Speakers like Eric Thomas, Simon Sinek, Inky Johnson, and Les Brown have shaped my approach to delivering a message that resonates with both the heart and the mind. They have shown me that words are more than just content; they are a vehicle for change when delivered with authenticity, urgency, and precision.

Personal Mentors & Life Experiences

Beyond the big names, I’ve been profoundly influenced by the mentors, colleagues, and players I’ve worked alongside for nearly three decades. Watching young athletes become leaders, CEOs grow into visionaries, and teams overcome insurmountable odds has been a constant reminder that leadership is not a title, it’s a daily decision.

And Tiffany’s fight, and victory, against cancer remains the single most significant influence in my life. It taught me resilience that can’t be faked, urgency that can’t be ignored, and the understanding that every person’s fight is deeply personal.

The Fusion of Influences into My Own Style

All of these influences, from locker rooms to boardrooms to living rooms, from combat leadership to keynote stages, have fused into the RISE Leadership Framework and my RISE Coaching Process.

They’ve taught me:

Strength is built under pressure, not in comfort.

Leadership is unlocking potential in others, even when they can’t see it themselves.

Communication is power when it’s both felt and understood.

Execution beats intention, every time.

What This Means for My Clients

When you book me, you’re getting more than a speaker with a résumé; you’re getting the lived experience of someone who’s been tested in the crucible of life and leadership. You’re getting the fire of a coach, the precision of a strategist, and the heart of a husband who’s seen the power of resilience firsthand.

These influences ensure that when I step on stage, I’m not just speaking at your audience, I’m pouring into them the lessons, values, and mindset shifts that have been passed down from some of the most outstanding leaders and lived through some of life’s fiercest battles.
