Expect that Rick will make sure that everything is followed as planned and is well organized. The audience will know what to expect next because of the agenda as well. Rick will sit down with you to go over the plan to make sure that everything is set according to the outline , so when the event is taking place everything runs smoothly and no issues will arise.
Announcing everything in an orderly fashion is key and is expected, Engaging the audience on what is next is very important, based on what is said to be announced at the time. If there is modification needed on the fly Rick will take care of it and will proceed.
Rick Mangram has been an Emcee for over 10 years and have done alot work around the Chicago and Chicagoland area! Rick is very energetic and loves to make people laugh and enjoy themselves at the event. Rick loves to dance and also he teaches dance as well, so being very outgoing and making sure that people get out of their shell and that is something that he loves to do.
Rick Mangram thrives off of music and motivates people to have a great time and make sure that they cherish the time spent with friends and family, or even just getting people together to make sure that everyone gets to know each other in a positive way.
What's most important about Rick is that when he is in the spotlight he will make sure that everyone is in the spotlight as well. Because confidence is key to Rick that everyone is having a good time.
Normally I have a Wireless MIC that I use which is a Senheiser MIC and that does the Job Well. If I am working with an AV Tech the Shure MICs are awesome as well.
Every setting is different so I usually get the information beforehand to make sure that I am prepared for the event.
Who are my influences is all of the Talk show hosts such as Jay Leno, Steve Harvey, Dick Clark, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel. These are just some of the examples of what I strive to be in the industry. They bring light to the room when they step up in the spotlight and people are engaged, not just because the show its because who they are and the personality that comes along with it.
Shure MIC or Equivalent is good, Handheld or Lavalier works as well.
