Ty Izquierdo

Ty brought the right amount of energy to our wedding. He had mentioned how he had experience emceeing for his family, so at first we were unsure how it would differ for him emceeing for complete strangers. However, there was no need for worries because he was fabulous! He learned some of guests’ names and engaged with folks at the different tables. He also brought a lot of energy in both English and Spanish.

We had a cocktail hour followed by a 3 hour reception in which we had a 30 min session of guest speeches and 30 min session of trivia. Ty shined during the trivia session getting our 56 guests (who are naturally competitive) bringing up their answers quickly and effectively on their personal sized white boards (also a suggestion from Ty- thank you!).

We coordinated with Ty for about a few weeks, jumping on a Zoom call for an initial meet and greet to describe what our vision was for the cocktail + reception timeframe. Having someone who spoke Spanish and English was particularly important for my family members who were predominantly Spanish speakers. He switched between the two languages effortlessly and everyone felt included. Because we were planning everything from the Midwest, his attention to detail and time management proved to be essential. We trusted in his experience and the videos he shared from public events to transfer those skills on over for our event. Sadly we didn't capture any photos or video of his exceptional work. However, we 10/10 would recommend Ty.

Came in, quickly learned about a pretty complex machine and hit the ground running building excited and energy around booth at the World of Concrete. Would highly recommend for any emcee work. Thanks, Ty!
