October 12, 2020That’s my dad!
I may be biased since he’s my dad, but people of all ages enjoy his music. I wish he had passed his musical talent down to me, but at least he can share it with people on the Space Coast!

What to expect
I consider myself a professional at all times. My sound will always be clear without distortion and I always adjust the volume according to the venue and audience. If folks need to talk to each other while I'm performing, I know to keep the volume low. When folks are ready to dance and have a fun time, I can provide the correct volume for them to party.
For indoor venues, I like to wear bright, beach-style shirts. I do my best to interact with the audience and tell little stories about some of the songs I sing. For outdoor venues, I can provide my own 10x10 shelter if necessary. I even have a sound system that can operate completely on battery if absolutely necessary. I do require a standard electrical outlet when using my two speaker sound system.
Being prompt is extremely important to me. I typically arrive one hour early for all gigs, to allow adequate time to set up. If you hire me for 3 hours, you will get very close to 3 hours of music. At most, I may take a 5 or 10 minute break. Sometimes, I will play straight through.
I take my commitments very seriously. I have never cancelled or missed a gig in my entire career.
About
Hello and thank you for reading my bio. I have been performing solo and in bands for over 40 years. I currently have a solo act that includes my favorite songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's with a few select current songs thrown in. I play an amplified acoustic guitar and I sing. I use a harmony pedal that listens to my singing voice and adds harmonies when appropriate. I do not use backing tracks or pre-recorded music. Everything you hear in my performance is 100% live.
I have been performing along the Space Coast and Treasure coast for Beachside Restaurants, Craft Fairs, Brevard Zoo, Outdoor Markets, Downtown Melbourne events, American Legions, Moose and Elk Lodges, etc. My target audience is the 40 to 70 year old crowd. My song list is extensive and includes music by the Eagles, Beatles, Jimmy Buffet, Willie Nelson, Elton John, Simon & Garfunkel and many more.
I own two different professional sound systems. I use a compact Bose system for small, indoor venues. I use a more powerful two speaker system for larger outdoor venues.
If you need someone to provide professional music that sounds close to the original performers, please consider me for your event.
Additional booking notes
I require a minimum of a 6ft x 6ft area to set up my indoor system. For outdoors, I may require 10ft x 10ft for my canopy. I can not perform in direct sunlight, especially during the brutally hot Florida weather. I do not require a stage or platform.
One standard electrical outlet is all I need for my equipment. I provide professional speakers, microphones and a small lighting system when required.
If announcements need to be made throughout my performance time, I can provide a wireless microphone for the venue to use as necessary.

Influences and inspiration
I have always been influenced by the amazing vocal harmonies of the Eagles. Using my harmony pedal, I can sound very close to their original recordings. I also appreciate the incredible talents of the Beatles. I perform songs from their first album to their last.
I like to perform songs that tell a story, while being musically entertaining. Some of the greatest story tellers are Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce and Don McClean.
One part of my act that I am very proud of is all my songs are easily recognized by my audience. My favorite compliments are when folks tell me they know every song I played throughout the evening. I very rarely try to be original and put my own twist on the songs I perform. I pride myself in making my performance sound as close as possible to the original recordings.
