Rickeya Neal is an award-winning Gospel recording artist, minister, educator, praise and worship leader, and choir director from Racine, Wisconsin. She is widely known for her powerful vocals, authentic worship, and unwavering commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her life and ministry are devoted to using music as a vessel to inspire hope, encourage healing, and transform lives.
At the heart of her message are two simple yet powerful declarations she shares wherever she goes: “God loves y’all” and “I love y’all.”
Rickeya carries a distinctive sound that blends heartfelt worship, contemporary Gospel, and Rhythm & Praise. Through her ministry, she delivers a message rooted in hope, salvation, and restoration. Guided by humility, faith, and obedience to God’s calling, she strives to reflect the love of Christ in every song she sings and every life she touches.
Her musical journey began in the church at a young age, where her passion for worship and ministry was first nurtured. Over the years, she has served in numerous choirs and ministry groups, building a strong foundation in Gospel music and worship leadership. Her dedication to excellence has opened doors for her to minister alongside and share stages with some of Gospel music’s most respected artists. She has opened for Gospel recording artist Marvin Sapp and has sung in choir ministries that have ministered alongside Dorinda Clark-Cole and Kierra Sheard. In 2020, she began her musical journey with the release of her debut single, “No Compromise,” which quickly gained attention and led to her nomination for the Gulf Coast Gospel Music Awards.
As a traveling minister, Rickeya has shared the Gospel through music across the United States, ministering in California, Arizona, Tennessee, and many other states. Whether in churches, conferences, revivals, or special events, she remains committed to answering God’s call wherever He leads, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide her steps and expand her impact.
In 2026, Rickeya received national recognition after winning a Rhythm of Gospel Award for Holy Hip Hop/Rhythm & Praise Song of the Year for her powerful single, “Victory.” This honor reflects her artistic excellence and her dedication to creating Christ-centered music that uplifts and inspires. In 2020 she was nominated for the Gulf Coast Gospel Music Awards as an Emerging Artist and has performed at the SOAR Awards on multiple occasions, including 2023 and 2026.
Beyond music, Rickeya is deeply passionate about education and mentorship. As both a natural and spiritual educator, she serves faithfully in the classroom while also investing in the lives of others through ministry. Her heart for people extends beyond the stage as she seeks to strengthen the discouraged, encourage the broken, and guide individuals toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
