Richard Ferreira

Richard Ferreira is a versatile and true artist at the piano. His music, which is quiet and sophisticated, has brought him to perform at major hotel chains in the U.S. such as Hilton, Hyatt, Lowes and Marriott.
At age ten, he started his musical career by singing and accompanying himself on the accordion, displaying an enormous musical seriousness. Soon after, he started to study piano showing a stylistic knowledge full of multiple colors, displaying a beautiful sound, and an absolute control, emerging a proficient, well-rounded musician. Since then, he has dedicated his entire life to studying music.

Richard’s ability to play admirably all types of music, including Latin, led him to secure an engagement at the Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino in Puerto Rico, where he formed and led his own group successfully for ten consecutive years.
His repertory is varied and extensive; it is a soothing blend of standard and contemporary material; perfect for any occasion requiring a touch of class.
In Florida, Richard joined the staff of excellent pianists at Nordstrom, in Boca Raton, where customers constantly complimented him on his beautiful playing. In addition, he has also entertained and delighted his audiences with his music, at local resorts and luxurious condominiums.

Now while residing in Kentucky Richard is focusing on teaching, composing, and recording his music.
