Daughter’s Wedding

What to expect

From the initial consultation through the final song, my goal is to make live music one of the easiest parts of planning your event. I'll work with you beforehand to understand the atmosphere you're looking for, discuss musical preferences and special requests, and create a performance tailored to your event.

My repertoire spans classical, jazz, pop, rock, Broadway, standards, and contemporary favorites, allowing me to adapt the music to the room and occasion. Whether you want elegant background music for a cocktail hour, recognizable favorites for a corporate event, or meaningful selections for a wedding ceremony, the music is customized to fit the moment.

I arrive professionally prepared and can perform on an on-site piano or provide my own professional keyboard setup when needed. Special requests are always welcome, and I'm happy to help with song selection if you're not sure where to begin.

About

Jonathan Carlisle is a Cincinnati-based professional pianist with more than 15 years of experience performing for weddings, corporate events, private parties, restaurants, concerts, and special occasions throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Classically trained, Jonathan studied piano at Northern Kentucky University and has continued his musical education through Berklee College of Music's online programs. His background in classical performance, jazz, composition, and contemporary music has helped shape an unusually broad repertoire and a versatile approach to live performance.

Jonathan's repertoire spans everything from Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Debussy to Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Elton John, Billy Joel, Queen, Prince, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, and contemporary favorites. That versatility allows each performance to be tailored to the setting—whether providing elegant background music, performing a couple's favorite song, or creating an energetic mix of recognizable music for a celebration.

Throughout his career, Jonathan has performed for private clients, weddings, businesses, restaurants, and organizations across the Cincinnati area. His approach combines accomplished musicianship with the professionalism and flexibility required for live events.

Additional booking notes

I will need working upright or grand piano that has been recently tuned and has functional pedals. If there is no piano, I can provide a digital piano and amp.
