Entertaining mix of original music and classic rock and Americana cover tunes spanning from the 1960s through today. I'm friendly and love vibing with other music lovers and with people in general. I love to stay current with the music scene and can play songs by artists such as Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, Jason Isabell, Brothers Comatose, Wood Brothers, Shovels and Rope, Avett Brothers, and Gregory Alan Isakov. Plus a huge variety of classic rock that can include entire sets of music (if needed) by Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Jack Johnson, or Eric Clapton. I am also open to playing requests of course. My performances are very audience friendly in that my songs are easy on the ears where people can either fully enjoy what's being played or hear it as interesting background music. In between songs I like to share stories and jokes that keep everyone in the flow.

His songs are simple but layered with meaning and musicality in the tradition of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, JJ Cale, Tom Petty, Jack Johnson, and more current influences such as The Wood Brothers, Caamp, The Brothers Comatose, Nathaniel Rateliff, and Gregory Alan Isakov. Originally from California, Rich is now based in Portland Oregon since 2020, where his musical output has increased as much as his caffeine intake.
I require a minimum of a 8' x 8' stage area for my guitar(s), amp(s), and accessories. A 120 volt AC outlet is needed to power my amps and electronics.
