Founded in 2020, the Rhythm Wrecker Dance Band is a Portland, OR-based swing band who play high-energy, four-to-the-bar vintage swing, jump blues, and early rock n' roll with a focus on fun, danceable music.
No sleepy jazz here! We are the perfect band to get your guests jumping, jiving, and wailing!
The Rhythm Wrecker Dance Band was formed by dancers, for dancers. We are committed to making danceable music for lindy hop and swing. The band is led by drummer, swing dancer, and organizer Eddie Montejo.
The band typically performs as a 7- or 8-piece ensemble with Drums, Piano, Rhythm and Lead Guitars, Upright Bass, Alto Sax, Trumpet, and vocals.
